Currier & Bloom · England
Every good bag deserves a keeper.
A new English house devoted to the care of fine leather and suede bags - opening soon. For the bag you saved for, the one you inherited, and the one you reach for every day.

The ritual of the house
Four steps, in the old order.
A fine bag is kept, not simply carried. We are preparing a small collection of care for the leathers and suedes you mean to keep for years: to cleanse, to dress, to guard, and to leave a quiet note inside.
Cleanse.
Lift the day from the surface, gently, without stripping the finish.
Dress.
Return suppleness to the hide, so it softens rather than dries and cracks.
Guard.
A light defence against rain, spills and the ordinary wear of being used.
Note.
A considered scent for the interior. To follow, once it has passed our own tests.
While we prepare
The Care Library is open.
We would rather you knew how to look after a bag before we ever sell you anything for it. Our guides set out the techniques we use ourselves, material by material.

- How to clean a suede bag without ruining the nap

Founding Keepers
Be among the first.
The first five hundred to join will be invited in forty-eight hours before the house opens, and will receive a finishing cloth with their first kit. Between now and then, a letter from the house each month: one guide, one technique, and word of what is coming.
